A glorious day at Sefton Park for the National Champs. What a wonderful day. Our 48 runners did themselves proud. Check out the results page and the gallery. Particular congratulations to Mia McGoldrick who won the Junior Girls race, she becomes the National Champion and will represent England next weekend at Bangor in the SIAB meeting. She will claim her first National vest. Also congratulations to Jack Sanderson, who was runner up in the Senior Boys race.
A fabulous event, made even better by the sunshine. Thank you to Alastair for organising the teams, to Fergus, Sara, Steph, Julie and Suzanne for giving their time to attend. Thank you also to the travelling parents.
The athletes were impeccably behaved and represented their schools, and the county with great pride and excellence.
