POSTPONED UNTIL 31st JANUARY 2026
To all competitors, parents or carers and school staff.
You may be aware that the Yorkshire Cross Country Championships has been rescheduled, due to adverse conditions, to the 17th January.
This was the original date for the North Yorkshire Schools championships, which acts as a selector for the North Yorkshire School teams.
Many of the athletes who are likely to qualify for the North Yorkshire schools team would likely be contenders for the Yorkshire teams. If they were both to be held on the same day this would put these athletes in the unenviable position of having to chose one event or the other, also badly weakening the NY schools team.
We have now secured Tadcaster Grammar School for the 31st January 2026. So the County Champs are postponed this Saturday 17th January 2026.
