Saturday 2nd Feb 8.00am – We have just had confirmation that the Inter Counties at South Shields today is ON.
This coming Saturday sees the North East inter counties event. This is a County match against Durham, Northumberland, Cleveland and Cumbria. All details have yet to be received but the race times and map are attached here. Key information I have listed below.
Venue Temple Park Centre, John Reid Road, South Shields, NE34 8QN
On the Day Please arrive with plenty of time before your race. This will allow registration and numbers to be distributed (Safety pins required). The first race is at 12.30pm, so have this in mind especially if you are wanted to walk the course. Registration is normally in the sportshall, just come over to the North Yorkshire table. We have a very large and strong team scheduled to race on the day (100 athletes). Please understand that staff will therefore require athletes to take responsibility with punctuality and preparation. Kit which has been ordered can be collected on the day at the North Yorkshire registration. Athletes will compete in the North Yorkshire vest and black shorts.
