Hexham Saturday 13th June 2026
A huge thank you to all athletes and parents who travelled to Hexham, acknowledging the importance of the event. It was an excellent day, albeit a long day. I was out of the house for 11 hours.
We came second overall, mainly due to me not being able to fill all positions on the team, then some late withdrawals. Unfortunately, not all third placed athletes from the county champs at York complete the form as was requested. Therefore, I was unable to contact them. Need to consider how we do this better next year. Had we have filled all positions on all four team, I am quite sure we would have been in with a chance of winning.
On the plus side both our girls teams came first, with the Inter both coming second and the junior boys coming third.
